Nardia Foster is a teacher who has worked across the whole education spectrum from
nursery to sixth form. She now runs workshops, seminars and INSET training on black
British history across the country. Nardia also sits as Council member and the National Vice Chair of Voice the Union (www.voicetheunion.org.uk).
Nardia received a certificate on the 17th May 2005 after being chosen for the Positive Images Project for the
London Borough of Enfield. The Positive Images Project was organised by Enfield Racial
Equality Council, and funded by the Home Office Race & Equality Unit, to celebrate
achievement.
Nardia has also been invited on numerous occasions to discuss education
and her book, Out of Slavery and is available for talks, workshops, and seminars on Black-British History/Legacy
of British-Caribbean people ..talks etc. in schools, colleges and for the Historical Society.
Nardia has conducted cultural awareness training at a National Teachers Conference and also in the National Health Service.
